1. Dog clothes. Okay, so a few pooches are clowns and don’t mind wearing clothing, but most dogs do not like to put on clothes. They don’t like anything they were not born wearing, like shoes, sweaters, costumes, hats or goggles.

2. Pet memorial stones. Yes, its true that your dog is going to pass away some day, but purchasing a memorial stone or marker before that day actually gets here isnt very positive and certainly not something your dog is going to enjoy or appreciate.

3. Pets Eye View. This little device lets you see what your dog has been up to when you’re away by hanging around your dog’s neck and taking photos . Simply set the digital camera to take a photo every 1, 5 or 15 minutes and review the images when you get home. An unfortunate idea since it’ll be a snooze for you because your dog most likely sleeps most of the day, and he should be entitled to some secrets, right?And besides, they probably do not want a camera swinging from their collar.

7. Charms that hang from their collar. Dog collar charms are made by numerous manufacturers like Bling-tastic and Rock of Love. Most dogs dislike wearing a collar and adding bling to it will only weigh them down and add noise to their every movement . This is not fun for anyone.

8. A tote bag. Although your dog loves to be with you, most dogs do not really like being crammed into a bag. If you want a bag to carry your dog around in, purchase it for yourself and get your dog a new toy or a bone to chew on thats what they really like.

9. Grooming supplies. Dogs, young and old, big and small, are not too interested in their grooming. For health reasons, you should keep their nails trimmed and their ears and wrinkles cleaned, and of course you want them to smell good enough to cuddle, but buying them grooming supplies for Christmas is like getting your child a pair of fingernail clippers or shampoo. They are not interested in that, they only want something fun.

10. Anything electric. An electric collar or fence represents nothing but limitations and grief. Not fun anytime and certainly not a good holiday present .
